Why ‘WALK AND TALK’?

Being in a room with a therapist might feel a bit daunting. And actually, the intensity of a face-to-face session is not always what is needed. During a ‘walk and talk’ session you decide the pace, literally. We walk alongside each other, which helps if you don’t like the idea of sitting face-to-face. There’s also the benefit of being outdoors, which can benefit you in various ways. There’s a breath of fresh air, to state the obvious, especially if you have an indoor, or desk-bound job.

So why not combine looking after your physical AND your mental health!

And then there’s nature itself. Seemingly random moments that can support your process in unexpected
ways.

WALK AND TALK sessions happen around Chichester / Stansted Park / Hayling / Petersfield / Winchester.
We agree on a place to meet during your initial consultation.

Let me walk along side you as you step into your very own story…

  • We walk for about an hour. To support you through an ongoing process I suggest to meet on a weekly basis. This is not set in stone and we can discuss other options, like meeting less frequently, or for longer walks.

  • A WALK AND TALK session costs £50 for about an hour. No tie-in, you just book one session at a time.

  • I am happy to walk in most weather, sometimes a squall is just what is needed! But the decision lies with you: we can convert any outdoor session to a zoom call, but please give me an hour’s notice.

    Please always arrive dressed for the weather and with sturdy boots.

  • Yes, that’s totally up to you. I’m fine with dogs.

  • Definitely not. For a start, you set the pace. Think of it as a gentle stroll, we might even choose have moments of stopping or sitting down. Your process, your thoughts, feelings and sensations have priority. Being outdoors can help, especially if you feel overwhelmed.

  • The areas we will walk in are not very frequented. And most people will notice that we’re in deep conversation, so just carry on.

48h notice to cancel (for a full refund) or to reschedule an appointment.
50% refund for changes after that.
